Hello, I realized that I didn’t get to talk to you about my experience, which I had some time ago, at a wonderful hotel in the center of the capital, Bucaharest. It’s about the Lido By Phenicia 4 * hotel, where I spent a wonderful weekend, and I managed to detach myself from all the hustle and bustle of the city.
Lido Hotel is part of the Phenicia Hotels group and is a place of history in Bucharest, the building being designed in the smallest detail by a famous architect of the interwar period, Ernest Doneaud.
The hotel is located in the center of the Capital, more precisely on Bd. Gral. Gheorghe Magheru no. 5-7, very close to the Romana metro station.
In my opinion, it is the perfect place to spend a few relaxing days in the heart of Bucharest, with your family. But also a perfect place to spend a crazy weekend with friends. Being located in the center of the capital, you can move very quickly from one place to another, having at hand all means of transport. There is even a direct car (783) from the airport to Hotel Lido.
From the moment I entered this hotel, I was surprised by the hospitality with which I was received, by the very nice staff and by the interior of the lobby. I’m passionate about vintage, so for me it was the biggest surprise to see how classic and luxurious this place looks. From the entrance, the terrace, the restaurant, the hall to the room everything looks perfect and very different from other places I’ve stayed. It actually transposed me to another world, a place I didn’t want to leave.
The room I stayed in had a small balcony overlooking the boulevard. What do you want more? Everything looks perfect, a huge bed, an even bigger closet, a comfortable armchair from which to drink your coffee in the morning and a gorgeous bathroom with a mirror that changes its colors according to the sensors.
The back terrace is the ideal place to spend time with your friends, in a very colorful and lively setting. In the back there is a mini-restaurant, where you can have a snack and sink yourself in a comfortable chair.
In the morning I had breakfast, with a Swedish buffet where I didn’t know what to choose faster. From cold appetizers, to salads and cooked foods, croissants, juices, coffees and teas. A great diversity, and the restaurant where the meal is served is just amazing. The same Parisian air, where you want to eat every morning.
I highly recommend this hotel where I want to return as soon as possible.
If you want to spend a few days in a vintage setting, but luxurious at the same time, Lido Hotel is definitely the most inspired choice. https://lido.ro/
